Make You Well Center is a state of the art Urgent Care and Family Practice that provides a wide range of Urgent Care and Primary Care services to our local communities of the South Bay. We are a walk-in clinic that treats injuries and illnesses which require immediate care. We treat everything from broken bones, to ear infections, and beyond. The mission of Make You Well Center is to promote the health and well-being of the local population, by providing accessible, high-quality medical care for people of all ages. Make You Well Center is committed to providing services that will exceed the expectations of our patients.

Neal Handel, MD
Medical Director
Dr. Neal Handel is an award-winning surgeon, with over 40 years of experience, and is the medical director of Make You Well. Aside from Dr. Handel’s large patient base and extensive practice, he is also an adjunct professor at the world renown UCLA School of Medicine. Dr. Handel is a Yale graduate, and licensed with the Medical Board of California, as well as the Medical Board of Dubai, UAE, where he practices medicine abroad on a monthly basis. He is uncompromising in his standards and ardently strives to provide each and every patient with the best medical care possible.
Daniela Dillman, NP
Co-Founder
Daniela Dillman is a board certified Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in Urgent Care and Family Medicine. Daniela’s academic credentials include multiple degrees from Loyola Marymount University, Cal State University, and Western University of Health Sciences. She has extensive training in emergency procedures and managing acute and chronic conditions from many years in practice at various urgent care centers across Los Angeles. Daniela is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, California Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Urgent Care Association of America. Daniela is fluent in English, Russian, and Spanish.
Robin Kucharik, FNP-C
Provider
Robin Kucharik is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive training and experience in Urgent Care and Pediatric Medicine. Robin attended West Coast University, where she received her undergraduate, master’s degree, and her Nurse Practitioner’s certification. Robin has lead teams in both the hospital and private practice settings, gaining many years of hands-on experience helping everyone from geriatric to pediatric patients. Robin is also a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and has received numerous accolades for her clinical care with pediatric patients.
Nhi Thai
Office Manager
Nhi Thai is the Office Manager at The Make You Well Center. She is fueled by her passion for understanding the ins and outs of the daily operations of a medical clinic. She considers herself as someone who is always eager to learn. Her hunger for knowledge and determination to turn data into action has contributed to her success at Make You Well Urgent Care + Family Practice and our sister company, The Anti Aging Center at Make You Well. She is a strategic thinker with a track record that demonstrates a proven ability to think outside the box to find solutions to problems. She is committed and is not afraid to tackle challenges head-on. Nhi has a strong devotion to provide excellent patient care and is always looking for ways to improve the clinic’s operations.
Alese Hernandez, DNP
Provider
Alese Hernandez is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in critical care nursing and family practice. Alese received her undergraduate at West Coast University and completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Nurse Practitioner’s certification at the University of Arizona. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Alese worked bedside, hands-on in a critical care unit, specializing in geriatric care. She is an active member of Phi Kappa Phi and Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Societies, as well as a member of the California Association of Nurse Practitioners and American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. In her free time, Alese enjoys traveling and exploring the outdoors.

Make You Well Center provides personal care of patients individually, in the context of the family and the community. Our providers strive to treat each patient appropriately based on their healthcare concerns. We offer Urgent Care services, as well as Primary Care services in order to treat the whole patient, and provide unprecedented access to a healthcare provider at any time. We believe that patients should not be limited in their access to quality care. Below are a few examples of the most common conditions that we treat in office almost every day.
PATIENT EXPERIENCE
Every patient is a VIP at Make You Well from the moment they walk in. Each and every patient receives the personalized attention and care that they deserve. Whether a patient has healthcare insurance or is simply paying cash, they receive the undivided attention and care from our highly- qualified providers regardless of their situation. At Make You Well, we are here to serve you, because our ultimate goal is to MAKE YOU WELL. We believe in treating the whole patient, so we strive to not only achieve optimum physical health, but also balanced mental health as well.
COVID-19 TESTING
We offer the most accurate and most reliable Covid-19 testing available anywhere in the world. At our office, we can accommodate almost all insurances and we work with a variety of labs, to provide the absolute best Coronavirus testing. We offer PCR nasal swab tests with 24hr and even same-day results, Rapid Antigen testing with 15 minute results, and Antibody blood tests for the IGG, IGM, and IGA antibodies from COVID-19. We also provide group testing services to many clients in the film production, event coordinating, maritime, and aviation industries.
AESTHETICS
In addition to our Urgent Care and Family Practice, we offer a wide array of Aesthetic Services. Our providers are trained in the latest techniques for injectables like Botox and Dysport, and fillers like Juvederm and Restylane. We also offer the most state of the art Micro Needling facials with our Skin Renew Micro Needling Machine. Additionally, patients can elect to receive IV drip therapies to replenish their bodies with ample nutrients, to leave them feeling refreshed and youthful.
ON SITE LAB AND PHARMACY
We offer many in-house lab tests such as Blood Glucose, Fecal Blood Occult, H.Pylori, Influenza (Flu), Mononucleosis, Rapid Urine Drug Screen, Pregnancy, Strep A, and Urinalysis.
For your convenience, Make You Well offers the most commonly prescribed medications on site.
IV DRIP THERAPY
Vitamins and medications delivered through IV may be used both proactively to supplement nutritional deficiencies and assist with your wellness journey. We offer a variety of vitamin drip solutions for many ailments, such as dehydration, menstrual discomfort, and vitamin deficiency. Most IV drips take about an hour, and patients leave feeling refreshed and balanced.

Our Torrance facility is equipped with the latest digital X-Ray technology, to serve our patients with the most advanced radiology possible. So from strains, to sprains, to fractures, and more, Make You Well’s on site X-Ray has you covered.
